I'm agitated because you called my take "stupid" and I'm tired of people who don't know anything about the draft feeling the need to constantly chime in and call professionals morons because they don't draft mediocre players from their favorite college teams

What about Gabe Hall. 6’ 6’’ 291 lbs. A run stuffer for sure!

I said people like you -- aka people who overrate players from their favorite college teams rather than agnostically evaluate them as NFL prospects.
where did i do that? can you show me specifically, or are you just painting everyone who disagrees with you, or anyone, in general, with the same broad brush...
i stil fail to see how i get lumped in with the people you are characterizing, when i clearly didn't do that... again, please show me where i did that....

Khristian Boyd, DT from Northern Iowa

SCOUTING REPORT: SUMMARY
Khristian Boyd's NFL draft outlook is that of a strong rotational piece with the potential for growth into a more significant role. His robust frame and raw power make him an asset in clogging lanes and stopping the run. While his pass-rushing techniques show promise, including effective hand usage and a relentless motor, consistency remains a development area. Boyd’s ability to absorb double teams and maintain leverage gives him utility in various defensive schemes, particularly as a 0-tech or 1-tech in a 3-4 alignment.
However, Boyd's limitations could hamper his transition to the NFL. His shorter arms and stiffness in the hips might limit his effectiveness against the faster, more agile offensive linemen he will encounter at the professional level. While he has shown the ability to disrupt the backfield, his lateral quickness and flexibility need improvement to consistently beat NFL-caliber blockers.
Overall, Boyd's draft stock is as a Day 3 pick, with potential upside. His physical tools and work ethic are evident, making him a viable prospect for teams looking to bolster their defensive line depth. If he can refine his technique and improve his mobility, Boyd could carve out a meaningful role on an NFL roster.

frick yeah. Great pick. This has been a solid draft for us. Best of all…we didn’t trade any future picks. Maybe Loomis finally learned his lesson

Run stuffer archetype. Definitely a need.

oh, i get it.... you're the professional draft guy... how's the war room, chief? it always looks cold in there... is it cold in there?
pssstt... you know JUST AS MUCH as everyone else, myself included, of course, which is JACK shite, in comparison to the people who are paid to do it....
maybe you should take a break from here and not take this place quite so seriously... it's clearly affecting your overall well being and demeanor, in general

Current Draft Projection and Summary
Boyd grades out as an early Day 3 prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. He could garner consideration in the mid-to-late Day 2 range because of his utility as a nose tackle at 0-tech and 1-tech, but his best value range would be early-to-mid Day 3.
Boyd was a productive multi-year defender at Northern Iowa, who then compounded the excitement regarding his profile after an exceptional Shrine Bowl showing. Then, at his pro day, he cranked out 38 bench reps — an indirect representation of his elite play strength on the field.
Kiper 147 for his fans

I can't tell you for sure, but I'm 99% sure Wingo is not even on the Saints board. He is well below their thresholds. Not to mention, if he was such a great pick, why is he still there now?
It’s a mistake. Not saying Wingo will be a starter, but he can come in on passing downs and cause issues. He has a quick first step and non stop hustle. Also very high character. His game tape from last year is much better than anything Smith has had at LSU and he was taken in the 2nd. Saints dropped the ball.

LSU defense was complete arse last year I wouldn’t pick anyone from that defense
