And he would be right. Young democrats hate this country. Just like old democrats.

Protests at Tulane this afternoon/evening which is funny because I thought the student body is mostly Jewish?

And yet Jews will still click D on their ballot boxes.
I don’t get it.

A man far wiser than his years. These kids have been raised on a steady diet of education that largely concludes America and the creations of western civilization are not just not exceptional but oppressive, polluting, racist, misogynist, colonizing, blah blah blah.
It’s a terrible thing and comes from both sides of the aisle these days. Obama regularly lectured about short comings of America and Trump will tell you every institution in America is rotten to its core.
There are few advocates left for the generally decency created by western style liberal democracies.

They need money too. Paid protestor is a staple in the gig economy.

Not a protected protest. They should be arrested.
I read that Columbia is at least starting to suspend students and not give them credit for this semester.

They're dealing with competing lawsuits.

A separate complaint filed Thursday with the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights accuses the university of failing to protect students “who have been the target of extreme anti-Palestinian, anti Arab, and Islamophobic harassment on campus since October 9, 2023.”
The harassment includes receiving death threats, being called “terrorists” and other slurs, experiencing harassment while wearing keffiyehs or hijabs and being the targets of doxxing campaigns, according to the complaint.

Washington University(STL) faculty placed on leave, students ‘houseless’ after Gaza protest
Students were scrambling for a place to live and professors were wondering if they'd teach again after they were barred from Washington University property
KSDK - Roughly 80 faculty & students arrested during protests

This only seems to be occuring at high profile, large Universities, why?
It is because they are weak. They do not have strong management . They let faculty committees have too much power, committees that are more interested in dogma than teaching and supporting the university. How many jobs do you know of where you can hate fundamental programs of your employer and still work for the employer?

Students who were blocked from going to class should sue the protestors individually. Bonus if the plaintiffs are part of a minority group.
Let the defendants off if they rat out whoever is paying them and show proof, so the deeper pockets can be targeted.

Just their student loans.
Soros will take care of the bail.

Yup, and yet objectively no country in the history of this planet has created more wealth, innovation, and lifted more people out of poverty through opportunity. And second place isn't really close.
