Do you realize how annoying you are to the rest of us?
Swear to God. I could punch you in the FACE!!

They probably don’t drink half a fifth of gin right before bed.
Jackasses.

A good night's sleep is highly underrated and everyone should be serious about trying to attain one. Legitimately makes every facet of your life better with an eight-hour investment.

Man, I wake up just about every night around 1AM and have to pee. If I don’t actively try to limit my thoughts for that minute and half, I’ll be up for 2 hours.
I feel your pain.

I got prescribed Trazadone for my sleep issues. I'm Rx the lowest dose which is 50mg but I only take half. I get the best night sleep ever. I wake up a little groggy in the am but goes away pretty quick. It's non addictive.

It comes and goes in spurts. I can go 2 weeks without a full night's sleep averaging about 5 hours of sleep. Finally, the good night of sleep will come and it feels so good.
I've learned that if I don't do something active during the day, usually physical labor around the house, golfing, or other hobbies, I don't sleep very well. Even when I'm tired, I won't go to sleep if I don't stay active during the day.

I find having a routine schedule and decent diet is the best recipe. Cut out caffeine a few years ago as well. Basically go to bed and get up around the same time consistently throughout the week. Sleep a pretty solid 8 hours per night.
Also alcohol is the worst thing for getting good, consistent sleep.

I’ve been able to master my sleep wonderfully for my entire life.
It’s been great, not going to lie.

Lots to be said for exercising daily. Some weeks I fall off the wagon and it definitely affects my sleep. Otherwise I sleep like as baby for 7 to 8 hours and wake up feeling great

Life is rough and inflation is high so the majority of Americans have trouble sleeping at night. Thankfully, I make too much money to worry about stuff like that and sleep wonderfully each night.

Yeah, pisses me off. I've had a busy week so I didn't get to sleep as much as I like. Was only able to hit my goal on Saturday night.
ETA: When I was drinking a couple glasses of whiskey every night I was averaging about 6 hours. It helped me fall asleep but I wouldn't stay asleep. Cutting back was one of the best things I've ever done.

100% bamboo sheets
Cooling pillows
Cooling mattress
Mattress angled a 33% head incline and slight feet incline
Fan blowing on the bed
Woman that loves me nestled on my chest.
I sleep like a rock.
Meaning I wake up hard

I normally sleep like a baby by following these rules:
1. No chocolate after 7:00 PM
2. No more than one cocktail at 8:00 PM, usually an Old Fashioned.
3. During the day, I have a cup of decaf coffee in the morning, after that only water or the occasional Diet Grapico. Basically I have almost zero caffeine in my diet.
4. Two melatonin gummies at bedtime.
We normally go to bed about 9:00 or 9:30. I’ll read my book (currently reading “The Guns at Last Light” by Rick Atkinson) until 10:00 when I lay down and go to sleep listening to either Forensics Files on HLN or The First 48 on A&E with a sleep timer set for one hour.

I wouldn't be able to sleep either if I knew my old lady was at Commandeaux's house.

I usually sleep pretty well. I’ll sometimes wake up around 3:00 or 4:00 though. What’s frustrating is waking up and not being able to fall back asleep until 10 minutes before my alarm goes off.

I struggled with insomnia from my teens through my mid 30's. I'm not sure what did it, but suddenly one day I could fall asleep within 10 minutes, and I've never had insomnia since then. I wish I knew the secret. I half jokingly say having kids fixed it for me. I think there is some truth to that.
A few years went by, and I found myself sleeping all night, but still dog tired all day. My sleep tracker was showing lots of O2 spikes downwards and was recording a decent bit of snoring. Had a sleep study done that came back with moderate sleep apnea. I'm a skinny little guy, and I always assumed only fat people had apnea. They gave me an APAP, and after getting used to it, I sleep like a rock and can go all day no problem. Before having it, my O2 would be in the low 80's. It now never drops below the low 90's.

#metoo Rouge.
Seems the only nights I sleep well and can stay asleep for more than 4 hours are when I have to wake up and be on the road for 6am.

After doing a sleep study and not finding any issues with that, my doctor prescribed me with Ambien.

Sleep is supposed to be a natural pattern. When we screw it up there's always a reason. Overweight, alcohol, stress, technology, lack of exercise, sugar etc. It's not hard to fix if you're willing to make lifestyle changes.
You think farmers 100 years ago had problems sleeping at night?

I usually get about 6 hours of heavy sleep. I am careful about the caffeine.. None after 5PM. I am a zombie when I wake up for the first half hour. I was taking Melatonin but ran out and haven't gotten anymore.. I might start that up. I just ignore the shiny happy people anyway.
