Cormani McClain: talks more about his situation...

Says he wants to play for a real program, his grades are good, doesn’t want to play for clicks, wants to be involved with a leading program that will develop players.
Here are some snippits...
A Colorado "content creator" fires back insinuating he has video of Cormani acting a fool...
Not really sure why LSU would be pursuing. Hopefully he's the real deal and not another headcase.

Man who put out Youtube video: "I don't want to play for clicks"
Posted on 4/21/24 at 11:02 pm to xGeauxLSUx
So Colorado’s social media team is blackmailing former players?

LSU might be pursuing but I believe he’s the only one to confirm that at this point.
And I damn sure not taking his word for it.

Cormani was supposed to pick Corey Raymond and Florida during his first announcement but chose Miami
It’s pretty evident Raymond is interested and doesn’t like the overall talent in his room.

I couldn't understand some of what he was saying.

Deion and his high school coach both appear to have similar takes on Cormani. He has all the talent in the world, but HE doesn't appear to be taking that serious as of now, and doing the things that HE needs to do.
Of course if I'm an athlete on the way to my second school in 2 years...i'm going to try and say all the right things in front of a camera. But some things are easy to sift through. CU wasn't that good on defense last year, and when given the opportunity to play, Cormani looked very regular.
Deion wished him well in his press conference afterwards.

After watching “Prime time for the truth”, l don’t trust anything prime has to say!

The kid couldn't maintain a 2.0 GPA he was about to be suspended for half the season due to his grades and not attending classes as well as team meetings. Thats the part the kid left out of that video I wish him well but hope LSU stays far away from him as possible seems like another Denver Harris all over again.

Damage control(He and Deion need it honestly;childish behavior by both)and I don't actually believe LSU is pursuing. He got the Dez Ricks phone call and told Nakos. Nakos tweeted out that original list and here we are with the "LSU is pursuing" discussions. Like Ricks then, we aren't pursuing McClain now. It's the grapevine on steroids thanks to X.

100% chance that this video is posturing by his agent.
The "play for clicks" thing is strategic - they want to make this about deion and take the spotlight off of mcclain. They know that jabbing at deion will get attention and are hoping that will allow mcclain's red flags to recede into the background.

Shea said on the On3 boards that LSU is not pursuing McClain. Said he called a trusted source. He's another Denver Harris.

You can tell the idiots who hate Deion just by the comments here. This kid is trying to make himself look profitable, but was friggin skipping classes and workouts and coming late to things.
Travis Hunter and his girfriend have an entire blogging youtube channel, and at the same time he is doing everything right in the class room and on and off the field.
Travis and Cormani are two examples of the 5 star elite athlete. One has his stuff in order, does everything right, is a great teammate on the team, a great person in everyday life, and is a showstopper on the field. The other is the immature kid who comes late to practices and meetings, doesn't go to classes like he should and apply himself more, and accuses the coaches for his problems.
McClain can turn himself around, but will he? If he does, will it be fast enough to have a NFL career?
