I had a panorama photo shot on my office wall of about 6 huge bucks and the Denver skyline in the background. Snow on the ground and if you didn’t know where it was you would have been shocked to find it was RMA.

Lost it somewhere dammit

GAS GAS GAS

Anyone else hear the soothing sound of an M8A1 in the far reaches of your brain?

Doesn't burn your skin. That's more like mustard.

It's not green, actually clear and odorless and about the viscosity of mineral oil and doesn't turn into a gas.

Atropine shots go in the leg, not the heart and the needle isn't huge.

Way more deadly than is depicted in the movie if you got it on you.

It's nasty stuff. Attacks your nervous system and just shuts you down. shite and piss yourself in convulsions as you die. (Like a human pesticide). Bombs were designed to blow up at altitude and spray a mist down that would just coat everything. Made a bad weapon cause troops couldn't move into a previously occupied area where it was used cause they would end up exposed.

Cool. Looks like the lack of it as a gas threat is a big discrepancy, also the melted skin, which looks like (from my wiki research) it really just makes you asphyxiate from paralysis.

I worked at the Anniston Army Depot inspecting/repairing protective equipment at the incinerator. They wanted me to transfer to Pueblo after we exhausted the mustard, but decided to get out of it.

Yep, they just took characteristics of several different chemical weapons and combined them into one for the movie.

Chlorine gas most likely there. Could be mustard.

I was NBC from 93-2007. We laughed a lot at that movie.

I was in Dugway and Ft. McClellan a lot.
