OT Plumbers- water pressure question

Cliffs: bought a new whirpool dishwasher from lowes in september. Paid them to install it
February- stops working. Not getting water inside
Under warranty, no problem right!
Tech from local appliance company (through warranty) has been out 5 times since then and can’t get it working
Lowes telling me I gotta take it up with whirpool as they are just the middle man
Whirpool saying if the tech couldn’t figure it out its probably a water pressure issue and I need to call a plumber
I have no water pressure issues anywhere else in house. Is it possible to only have it in 1 spot, the dishwasher? The sink that is on the same water line has no issues

Sometimes there are inline filters . Could be plugged but tech should know

Turn off water main. Pull dishwasher out. Remove back panel and adjust the pressure switch with a screwdriver. 120 psi is what you're looking for.

Turn the valve off under the sink, unscrew the cold water feed line to the faucet, make a test tree with an npt x 3/8” or 1/2” fip nipple a tee a gauge and a bleed valve, turn your cold water valve back on and check the pressure on the gauge. Compare that to the inlet pressure required in the owners manual.
If it’s high enough they owe you a dishwasher.

Check the strainer where the supply elbow connects. Possibly plugged with debris

I have a 25 dollar whirlpool I got on Craigslist because it was……wait for it…..:white in color. Hasn’t missed a beat in 7 years.

If it is under whirlpool warranty, then tell them to send one of their licensed techs out to figure it out.

This seems like an assumption not backed by evidence, did the tech say it was a water pressure issue?

What type of tubing is feeding the dishwasher? Copper or poly? Either could have been crimped when the slid the old dishwasher out and and new one in.
Does the tubing feeding. The dishwasher have its on stop or did someone use a needle tapping saddle to make a connection?
Best practice is using a 3-way compression stop at the sink, one branch feeds sink other feeds dishwasher. Needle valve can leak and get less water flow.

1.) turn dishwasher valve off
2.) unhook dishwasher water supply line from the dishwasher and put it into a 5 gallon bucket
3.) turn dishwasher valve back on
4.) count how long it takes to fill the bucket or fill it a gallon or whatever
Go from there
ETA: the tech should have done this himself while there. It’s an easy thing to check.
It would be like checking why your dishwasher has no power at the control board.

Sometimes the supply from the water to the dishwasher gets crimped. The dishwasher has 2 skids on each side and the supply line can get under it and get pinched off.
