Neal, Travinski and Jones! Boy if we could face In State Pitching on weekends!

So Jones and Travinski can't hit home runs against SEC pitchers? There is way more evidence to suggest you are wrong. But don't let that stop you.

We hit 2 homeruns at Tennessee.

At this point, I'm really glad for Neal that he hit one. I dont care who it was against. It had to feel good for him to hit the damn ball. Hopefully he gets some momentum going.
Jones mashed that curve ball and almost had another. Jones has taken that next step compared to last year when he couldn't hit anything breaking.
And I won't be complaining that Trav hit one also. This team has been close to getting it going. I'm hopeful they can get it some hits against Mizzou.

Three games in that small of a park and you’re calling that good?

White’s went completely out of the park and Travinski’s was a no doubter. Provide a list of parks where those wouldn’t have been homeruns. And when did I call it good? I was pointing out homeruns hit against an SEC opponent just last weekend.

Kindly present us that evidence for 2024 SEC baseball

We don’t need to face in state pitching on weekends. Just need to quit swinging for the fence every at bat on weekends.

They’ve combined for 8 homeruns.

How about just making good contact? So often we’re looking at third strikes, or swinging away instead of protecting the plate.

Pretty sure JJ has a rule that we can only hit home runs with no one on base.

That’s great and all, but I’ll take solid contact by more than 1 batter at a time. Clutch hitting (RISP) is more a concern to me than long balls. How many times against Tenner did we get a lead off on, only to swing away or sit there looking?

Hitting home runs hasn’t been our problem on the weekends.

It may be me, but we seem to have an uncanny knack for hitting solo homers.

How much shorter at each point is it than Alex Box?
Lines 10 ft shorter
power alley 5 feet shorter
center 15 feet shorter

I was talking with my buddy the other day and I geel like it’s almost better i have a huge glaring issues you can focus on rather than just issues overall.
Jones could y lay off low breaking balls and swung at so many balls down and away last year.
Stil somewhat of an issues (there is a reason people throw breaking balls that break down and away) but he’s much better thisnyear.

That’s a big difference
Not as big as some would make it out to be but significant in dead center and the lines.
Also the fence height at the box rises toward center field making the already longer distance even more significant. But it isn't like it is the Wake Forest field. That is a matchbox
