We murdered a lot of our future leaders. Somewhere around 30 million plus babies killed since Roe. There were sure to be a few good leader in there.

It’s definitely a divisive issue.

It seems to be a big motivator and priority for a large group of voters. That’s why the Dems are pushing to get abolition on a number of state ballots for the 2024 election.
Never said that you did.

Yep. Either abortion is murder or it's not. There is no gray here; it's black and white. At least Bill Maher had the moral courage this past weekend to say that it was murder and that he was okay with it. I can say definitively now that the man is evil.

This is basic civics. Powers not enumerated to the federal govt are reserved for the states.
Correct. But if you asked the average person on the street over 70% would say that the supreme court outlawed abortion, rather than reversing policy back to the states where it belonged.

Removing bodily autonomy and dictating state control of medical decisions for 50% of our population is one of the biggest fish we have to fry, until it's in the rear view.

Can the government force you to give up your kidney to save a child's life?

Really terrible analogies have entered the chat
The recipient child's DNA is also different than the donor in that hypothetical. Try again.

Catch 22. 2 choices Republicans have:
1) Cling to pro-life and repeatedly give the Democrats massive and easy advantages for every election, which eventually they’ll start monopolizing. At which point they will do whatever they want as far as abortions.
2) Drop it and not give the Democrats an easy slam dunk.
AKA, Republicans need to drop the issue or the Democrats will continue to hold power and drop the issue FOR them.
It blows my mind that pro-life MAGA’s do not see it’s a losing issue. This is not complicated. Most people are not pro-life anymore. Suburban women will become another monopoly just like black people. You might as well run on women staying in the kitchen. It’s a losing battle. It’s over.

The predicted “red wave” that didn’t happen after Roe V Wade was overturned disagrees with you.

A populace who would vote for Biden is obviously misguided and misinformed.
Suburban women disagree with you. Call them dumb and say 19th amendment was a big mistake, that doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not. What matters is their votes count the same as yours. And the Democrats will have their way with elections as long as Republicans are stupid about this thing, and eventually win the abortion issue.

Oh hell yeah just throw down your beliefs to win an election. You dumb motherfrickers might as well walk left because they barely have to drag you.

The Democratic party is the party of shrugging responsibility. It makes complete sense they support abortion, even until birth.

So what isn’t a negotiable issue for you?
Since 2016 the GOP has gone to pro tarrifs, isolationism, anti vax, trump loving the most prominent trans person on the planet Bruce Jenner and now you want to go pro choice.
You are going to lose the most solid GOP voting block by dropping the life issue.
People who had concerns about Trumps moral turpitude held their nose and voted for him because of primarily the pro life issue.
They won’t vote for Biden but they will just sit out

Idiots.
Not voting because a candidate doesn't check every box is why republicans lose.
And a weak party means you will never get what you want.
The culture needs to change and that isn't ever happening while you pout on your couch every election day.
People like you are no different than spoiled children.

It's definitely not irrelevant since if we hadn't killed off 65mil+ babies in the last 50yrs we wouldn't need to have such a laxxed border policy.

As I said. Your choices are:
Drop the issue, take away Dem’s easy slam-dunk, and cave on abortion laws.
Cling to pro-life, lose elections, and be forced to cave on abortion laws.
These are the 2 options. Both have the same result. One results in Democrats winning more. But… “muh beliefs”

Are you completely removed from reality? Do you have any idea how many people will not vote for a Republican if they’re pro-life? It’s a shite load. It’s up there with people who won’t vote for Trump because “he’s a racist.”
The difference between abortion and what you cited is that most of the country is pro-choice. Eventually, those people will win out. Pro-life doesn’t matter if pro-life people keep losing elections. What you’re essentially doing is voting for pro-life candidates because it feels morally right to you, despite the fact that it is a losing issue. Your vote will eventually be meaningless.
It is a losing issue and I’m personally in favor of not prolonging the inevitable if doing so means we elect a shite ton of Democrats in the meantime. Not. Complicated.

So you support forcing someone to give up bodily autonomy in one instance where their DNA is different, but not another.
Why is that?
