The 10 year rule for public service was put in place decades ago. His comment about Biden and Trump is just dumb. I don’t understand how people can be ignorant to how their own debt works.

The con of the PSLF program is that it was meant for teachers, police, etc. The big forgiveness, though, is going to lawyers and bureaucrat "public servants".

This is an absolute slap in the face to all the people who actually had to pay their loans back. My generation is filled with some of the laziest, most self-absorbed, virtue signaling douchebags this country has seen in a long time. Gen Z is lost in every sense of the word. Most of them don’t even want to work real jobs and want to be TikTok personalities, Instagram models, YouTube vloggers, etc.

Student loans absolutely need to be overhauled and they need to go back to the closed-end installment loans that they were originally. This nonsense that has people paying for a decade and their principal balance barely budges if at all needs to stop.
