Never needed one until they started putting the Pels games on local TV. We live in St Amant so within 30 miles of BR and around 60 miles from NOLA. Appreciate any help or recommendations. TIA

The square ones that look like a piece of paper on Amazon have always worked well for me. They are Amazon brand.

They all work. Just bring it up to your attic and hook it up to your cables up there and then all you cable connections gonna be fire for all local channels.
Fun fact: you will never beat the picture quality of a properly set up over the air broadcast of NBC, ABC, CBS

I got a flat one that Antenna Man said was one of the few of those worth a damn, and even it is pretty shitty at my house, in the same city as the FOX station I'm trying to get. I have to move it around on a long cable to find just the right spot, and even then the pic often breaks up. Meanwhile, my living room looks like Trailer Park Illustrated with the cable strung along the wall.
My neighbor paid more at Best Buy and got a more robust one (Antennas Direct?) on a small stand. His is much better and doesn't look as trashy.

I picked up one from Walgreens in a pinch for $10 for the first pels bounce TV game. It is basically an sticker the size of a sheet of copy paper and it gets lots of channels, but the only one we ever watch have been the few pels gams this year.
I need to pick up a cheap TV service for the Playoffs.

Whatever you get, make sure it is suitable for UHF AND AND VHF. The legacy BTR TV stations are still VHF. If its a true indoor antenna, the best placement is in or near a window facing th BTR transmission towers, which from St Amant should be just north of due West.

The flat indoor ones kind of suck in my experience. Get a directional one on Amazon that has good reviews and put it in your attic.

I've used Antennaweb in the past, with good results.
Enter your location and you will get a map showing the nearby stations as well as a recommendation for the type of antenna to use.

FWIW, when tailgating at Tiger Stadium, I use a set of rabbit ears that I bought at Lowes and get no less than 15 channels in HD.
