For anyone that wants to capture a nice dividend.

Stock is at a 10+ year low, below its Covid Crash lows, with an 8+ percent dividend yield (2+ percent tomorrow).

Thanks for the heads up. Just jumped on it. Debt to asset ratio is 79% and PE is 16 so getting stuck with it wouldn't be bad.

I saved some dry powder for tonight when I can take a closer look. A lot of stonks are on sale right now.

I believe they will have to cut their dividend eventually if things don't improve.

Is the strategy here to invest today, get dividend tomorrow, and sell when/if stock rises?

I ate at CB last night and just like a Wendy’s or a Popeyes, the following g is true:

They hate you for coming in and spending money. They also don’t like it if you are polite back to their rudeness.

Cracker Barrel went woke when they threw out their Duck Dynasty merchandise several years back. Go woke, go broke.

Huge dividend cut just announced.

"In conjunction with this plan, the Company is modifying its capital allocation to support increased investment in the business to drive organic growth. As part of this shift to increase investment in the business, the Company has reduced its quarterly dividend to $0.25 per share."

This was more than I expected. I thought they would cut it in half.

I hope you realize when a stock goes ex-div, its price is adjusted down by the amount of the dividend when the stock opens for trading the next trading day.
