Citizenship is absolutely relevant. Was it you argues that abortion bans don’t restrict the liberties of citizens because dead babies?
Fetuses aren’t citizens. Most women in the US are. You advocate for restricting the liberty of citizens to protect non-citizens. Why wouldn’t that position extended to immigrants? At least be consistent.

My wife is pretty moderate to conservative, but I’ve learned a lot about the electorate from her views on abortion.
It’s not something she personally would have or supports. But she doesn’t want some old white man telling her what she can do with her body.
It’s the same principle the Anti-Vaxxers supported.

Child in womb = illegal immigrant.
Which one of these is a citizen of the United States?
So, following this logic, we can kill anyone that's not a US citizen. Fine. let's set up some towers with .50 cals on the border and mow down anyone that illegally crosses our border.
Your move, Toots.

Why would you insult someone for this? I work full-time and I go to school. You are bothered by this and I have no idea why you would even care how I spend any of my time.

You’re just contrarian. I doubt you could list 3 of my “views.”

Did you tell her that no one cares about her body, it's the body and life of the child inside of her that we don't want exterminated for convenience?

I don’t see how restricting the ability of a US citizen to seek a medical procedure would save the life of an immigrant. I also don’t see how allowing a US citizen to obtain an abortion would kill an immigrant.
If the argument is that it’s ok to restrict a US citizen’s ability to obtain an abortion because we value the life of the fetus (a non-citizen) more than we value the liberty of the citizen, I’m not sure why that same argument wouldn’t be extended to immigrants. Can you explain why non-citizen fetuses are more valuable than immigrants?

There were some people in the 30s and 40s that also believed extermination of the unwanted was considered a "medical procedure" or less.

For most of the country'd history they were always humans. It's only recently in liberal re-definition of the world did we make some really tenuous reclassification of fetus, zygote, etc. that leads to the complication you are referencing.
And because of this they had assumed rights - which some STILL exist (like homicide classifications of pregnant women).
But if your ask is that we document all fetuses at the time of conception and register them with some form of flexible "citizenship" - and if we did we can completely ban abortion. That's fine let's do it.

Cool. Now, read the rest of that post.

But we also don’t want to ensure that mothers can care for their newborns. Shouldn’t have gotten pregnant if you wanted to be able to take care of your baby.

Who performs abortions?
People with degrees that failed to read the hippocratic oath.
As i recall, there was an astronaut that drove cross country a few years ago, to murder a woman who was cheating with her husband. Is murder a condition of one's professional working title?

At what point in history did the unborn have American citizenship? When could an unborn baby apply for a passport or birth certificate?

Most of the world refers to them as doctors.

There's that lack of personal responsibility rearing it's head again.
You know, people today are so afraid of using their brains. Whether it be a simple task, or one that requires a modicum of thought, humans are so stupid they don't want to dare critically think because they are not told to critically think. You seem to fall into that spectrum. So afraid to take responsibility for your actions, that you must assume that the irresponsible are the victims, and the true victims, should be exterminated for the irresponsible's laziness.

No one played this game because they were simply human. No one thought this would ever be in question.
You only want to play this game because you think it's a gotcha. It isn't.

This is one of the dumber arguments I’ve read on the topic.

Then explain to me how abortion bans are consistent with being anti-government regulation and pro-personal liberty.
