Have they been running this turbo hybrid in Japan?
I think Toyota is the one rock solid brand everyone can agree on in regards to reliability.
I just have my doubts they’ll put out something that is anything other than reliable.

It will be reliable, for a turbo 4. The issue is with the complexity/heat of turbo'd engines. The ceiling for reliability is lower, no matter the brand.

If I was going to put faith in a brand, it's Toyota...I have/currently own several.
I'm just stating the obvious that any engine with a turbo and hybrid technology will require more maintenance. This especially coming from a proven NA V6 it had prior.
