Good grief, you’re a fricking idiot. He is pointing out the same argument you made.
Biblical Israel isn’t the same as Israel today
ALSO
Ancient Palestine isn’t the same Palestine as today
AND
Both groups used the same tactics when renaming the area
Good grief. You're an idiot too. First of all, referring to the area as "Palestine" goes back farther than the modern-day reference to "Israel". Second of all, both you and the unknownknight are inferring (incorrectly by the way) arguments that I have not made.
It's likely because you're both very sensitive to this topic for some reason (probably religious beliefs). Step back, take a deep breath, and respond solely to the words that I've written, not to what imaginary arguments you think that I'm making.

The Rothchilds invented the new Israel in the 40’s…in the image they desired it to be….its not the Isreal of the Bible …..

That’s a little oversimplified. Israel was two countries before this occurred.
No. Israel was a separate kingdom from Judah. They were two separate kingdoms (if you believe all the stories). You really are conflating ancient and modern-day Israel. I suspected as much.

You’re being dense. I’m using the modern term “Israel” to say that “Israel” was two counties then: Judah in the south and “Israel” in the north.
The fact this confuses you proves my point from earlier. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Oh, well this is wrong too, so you're the one being dense. There were various "kingdoms" in the area of modern-day Israel at that time.

Yeah, sure. See above.

No, we understood your incoherent ramblings perfectly fine. You put yourself in a box and now is lashing out because your stupidity has been exposed. You’re just mad that it was pointed out that your leftist indigenous statements are a farce because no country is the same from biblical, ancient, or historical times.
As far as being sensitive, not every opinion is based off religious beliefs. I know it’s hard for leftist to understand but there is a significant amount of right leaning voters who are not religious, including myself. That being said……I’d rather be on the civilized side who won’t cut off my head for refusing to convert to Islam, thinks raping boys is a form of pleasure, reduce women to property, toss homosexuals off buildings, or want to wipe out a group of people for their religious beliefs … but you and the other antisemites do you if that’s who you and your values align with.

You really are a dumbass aren’t you? There is no way you are navigating the clear points in the thread so poorly on purpose.
YOU started this discussion saying the name “Israel” was modern propaganda. I simply pointed out that the name Palestine was literally propaganda by the Greeks as a call back to the Philistines who originated from Greece and then left in defeat.
You couldn’t follow that and called it a “word salad”
Then, I simply corrected and oversimplification of someone saying Assyria changed the capital of Israel from Jerusalem to Samaria by saying Jerusalem wasn't the capital of that country at the time in the first place as Jerusalem was the capital of Judah, not Israel…something a kindergarten reader of the Bible would understand.
Then you come back talking about how there were several kingdoms, which has nothing to do with what I was addressing, further proving that you cannot follow logical thoughts in this thread. So either you enjoy looking like a moron, or you are actually a moron, but are too moronic to recognize it, I’m going with option two at this point.

No, but you clearly are.
Again, respond to words that I have written, not to what you think I'm implying. You can't even write your own thoughts coherently however, because now when I correct one of your statements, you claim that my correction has "nothing to do with what you" were addressing. Very odd.

So a kindergarten reader of the Bible would understand it, but you described it inaccurately. Give yourself a little more credit. While I don't think that you know as much about this topic as you think you do, you probably (maybe) have more than a kindergarten understanding of it. It's funny that you call squirrellmeister's statement an oversimplification though when in fact it's your description that was an oversimplification.

So I readily admit and accept that I am a dumbass. Can you explain it to me like I am five what you are saying and not what you are implying? I don't know half as much as I should about Israel/Palestine and would like to know more. I think I have been following the logic in the argument from the other side, but am struggling to understand what you are saying. Help me out please so I can be more informed.

How did I describe Jerusalem being in Judah and Samaria being in Ephraim inaccurately? Be specific.

You're going to need to back this allegation up, liar.
This will also come as news to my Jewish family members, but keep on with your lies, a-hole.

You mean Judah. What I stated is correct about the nation of Israel. Judah as a nation fell to the Babylonians about 2600 years ago. Then about 500 years later they became independent for less than 10 years under Judas “the hammer” Maccabeus.

I think this thread just proves how complicated this entire thing really is. I think the first step to making this not as complicated, is to stop using a book from thousands of years ago as the basis for foreign policy. Cause if we’re gonna do that, then all of you should be in support of Native Americans reclaiming their lands. It’s creating hypocrisy. And that’s part of the world’s problem with our foreign policy.
Posted on 4/9/24 at 10:16 am to OBReb6
And we don’t want a nation like Israel, who has tactical nuclear weapons, to just deal with everything on their own.
