They closed the airport as we was trying to land. We circled the gulf for a few before going to PC on delta. The flight you’re talking about just now got off the plane in the same terminal as us.

Should have diverted west considering y'all were already in the thick of it over SE Louisiana.

Baw, I’m just trying to get home as I’ve been on the road too long. I could go for shrimp tacos right about now though!

The NWS Mobile office is right beside the radar, so I would imagine they’re sheltering.

Agreed, it was a bumpy ride for sure. I think their intentions were to get us landed right as the storm was arriving. Only good part about this is: I’m hourly and on the clock and have my dugout with me. This too, shall pass.

The area of Ponchartrain Drive and Old Spanish Trail got hit. Power is out all over Slidell and PR.

We watch the Slidell parades right by there.

Seems Old Metairie has lots of street flooding. If I’m to believe the Facebook women, it might be in some businesses near Metairie Rd and Causeway

Watching a live shot on WWL, flooding but the water is moving so that tells me pumps are on but may be overwhelmed
