A few fays ago, I was hearing that Tenuta had been interviewed twice, and people were thinking we might be looking at Tenuta and Orgeron coming in.

Lately, I haven't heard anything about Tenuta and I'm only hearing about Chavis and Walker.

Is Tenuta off the table?

No one knows. Not even Belowpar knows what is in place. I suspect we will know more next week if Mallory and Peveto get the jobs they are up for.

I know alot of folks want Chavis or Walker...........but personally, I think Tenuta and Orgeron would turn our defense into a vicious QB raping, O-Line stomping, WR smothering, angry, mean, and bloodthirsty Purple and Gold nightmare for opposing Offenses.

I'd love to see it.

Can you imagine the size of the egos in the coaching rooms with Tenuta, O and Miles all in there. They would have to install double doors just so their swollen heads could fit.

We had those installed for Saban years ago.

Why? Who would you prefer ( that is an actual possibility ) ?

I pretty much said that to see how long it would take to get a rise out of the countless people who think Tenuta is the answer.

Walker, Chavis. (of the people who seem to be serious and viable candidates for the job)

Well, no rise out of me. I really don't care who we get as long as they produce results. I think Tenuta would give us the aggressive D that we've been missing.

Actually, my first choice probably would have been Koenning, but obviously thats not happening.

OIT, out of Chavis and Walker, who do you prefer, and why? I only know the basics about both.

Yeah, I wasn't tryin to get a rise outta you, just the general "everyman."

Of Walker and Chavis I say
1a: Walker
1b: Chavis

If we can nail down O as DL coach and recruiter it's a wash to me.

I like Walker's young, aggressive style, what he has done with less talent, and his connections out west.

I like Chavis for the continuity he would bring (I see Walker only being here 2-3 years til he got a big HC job), his experience in the SEC (one of the only people to have any success against Florida lately), and I like his record (consistently top ranked defenses and players who go to the next level).

All in all, it's a wash for me.

Ask yourself where you were hearing these things. That will likely answer your question.

Did I miss something. I remeber hearring that Chavis had interviewed twice here and at Clemson. Don't remeber Tenuta with 2 interviews. Not that it really matters, just waiting to hear for real. I am cautiously optomistic though......
