at this point, we're just talking semantics.

when we say "recruited", that does not mean that Paul wasn't trying to get them to come to LSU. Every one readily admits that Paul was definitely wanting them to sign here.

but once a coaching change happens, lots of players change their minds on where to go.
It is up to the new coach to continue the recruiting process and actually sign the player.

which is why the guy who is coach at the time they sign gets credit for the recruiting class.
