Props to this young man for his first SEC at bat and not striking out and working some pitches he actually cared about his at bat ,i want to see more at bats from him , might as well no one else is hitting, other than Larson props to him as well

Impressed by Larson
Consistency is key, both should get more playing time

And down 10 runs and still diving for balls up the middle. Big props to him.

100% they all care but not all of them are hungry
Kids like Larson, Kucherak, Ruddell….they want playing time, it’s not a given
Maybe it’s time to sit some starters & let younger guys earn a spot as a starter

Completely agree. All the players who returned that we expected to take that next step just haven't done it. They don't even look interested right now. Play the young guys along with the guys who have been playing decent (White, Jones, etc) and let the rest of them watch.

Proud of the kid from Chandler, too.
JJ is realizing he is running out of breathing room and FINALLY beginning to understand he NEEDS to do something.
This writing has been on the wall since the beginning of the season.
Kucherak has earned some opportunity now.

Then the experienced players need to step up and lead and act like the care because im not seeing it im seeing the guys who won the championship last year take lazy a** swings and not concentrating , younger guys like Larson and RK coming off the bench and showing them up.

That's on coaches, like it or not. No different than football when it comes to preparedness.

Havnt really been watching. How have Jones and Travinski done. Travinski was on fire last year. With white, trav, Bingham should have 3 legit stud bats.

Yea every player has highs and lows, slumps if you will but an examination needs to be made for those who hurting the team with at bat. This of course has to be balanced with the their position play on defense. I think pitching has as much or more to do with our lack of success. I sense Jay is frustrated with this and I continue to trust him to figure this out.

Then the coach is doing his part his piss poor attitude you see when hes standing in the dugout shows the veteran players they dont have to lead attitude reflecs leadership sir so players need to take it into their own hands and step up and be the leader they need

I don't know these kids and I don't see them practice, but it's past time for those who don't perform to sit. They've all been given ample time to turn it around.
This is D1 SEC baseball, where you have to produce or sit. Don't care what you did last year, don't care what your name is.

At least TRY a little punctuation, man.

I agree but,…..it’s past the point where caring more is going to get it done.
We need better execution. And as long as there is not accountability for poor play, it will keep happening. We’re too talented to allow it.
And I’m not saying to bench anyone, only to make it clear than they can and will be replaced if a lack of concentration and/or effort is displayed.
