THE DECISION TO SIT WAS NOT MADE BY ZION

So Zion has zero say in whether he plays or not? Going in he was a game time decision to see how he feels and from that point he was declared out. That means he said he couldn’t go.

It’s a bruised finger without any structural damage. You think if MJ, Kobe, Lebron were in the same situation, with what was on the line standings wise, they wouldn’t play? Even if the team said no you can’t, those guys would give the middle finger, tell them to F off and suit up.

This is the softest move of Zions career and is completely on him.

Again, different era, every team makes the decisions to sit out players, if they don’t clear you to play you’re not playing. If you’re labeled a GTD that means the team is the one making the decision, Zion knows how he felt all day long and would have said he couldn’t go in the morning at shootaround so the team can adjust gameplan if he was making the decision.

Zion’s second season he literally played with a broken finger until we were officially out of the playoffs, he would 100% play with a sprain if the team cleared him.
