Mod version of Fallout 4 based in London. Apparently it releases on April 23rd. Hearing really good things about the dev team and it's suppose to be wonderful

Curious, how do they handle voice acting for stuff like this? I know for Skyblivion they just use the original sound files, but are they bringing in amateur voice actors for this?
I played a user created version of Portal once and the voice acting was atrocious to the point that I couldn't play it.

I think they have professional voice actors. Not sure how many.

I definitely want to try it out. Been on a big Fallout kick and have heard a ton of good things about London.

I’m pretty sure Bethesda hired the writer for Fallout London
Everything they’ve put out looks really good, as if Bethesda themselves made it.
I wonder if they’re going to make a next gen update for it like F4 is about to get

I've watched the videos they've been putting out and it looks great. The world is supposed to be as big as FO4 Commonwealth plus Far Harbor combined. Need to see how it actually plays first though.

Every time I think I should give FO4 another shot, I remember those jackasses still don’t have native ultrawide support, and it makes me reconsider

What is their reasoning?

Never said, at least as far as I know. Apathy, I’m sure.

As many times as Bethesda has re-released Skyrim, its really odd they've never done anything with old Fallout games.

I think it’s just because Skyrim was easy. They just keep doing basic texture upscaling and charging people for it again. Releasing Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, or Fallout NV would take a little bit of money and work, and they just don’t seem interested, for whatever reason. Though as I said in another thread, it blows my mind, because you would think companies like Bethesda with popular game portfolios would have seen the success of Mass Effect LE and heard cash register sound effects in their heads.

I've watched some previews, and I'm in there like swimwear. I can only imagine hear a voice, and identifying it as Mancuanian, and immediately opening fire.

It'd be very cool just to get through downtown without crashing. I'd take that small nugget.

First time I tried to play FO4, I couldn't make it out of the little (post-vault) starting neighborhood without dealing with a string of crashes. shite was so fricking frustrating.

This just triggered a memory of my first play on FO4. All I had was a bee bee gun and I ran I to a death claw at the supermarket. Fortunstelt some raiders almost killed it and I took it down. I had no clue what I was doing

As much as I like to pick on FO4, that's actually classic FO. In every FO game, there's an area relatively nearby the starting area with patrolling deathclaws that will absolutely frick up your day if you insist on going in the "wrong" direction
Though now that I'm saying that, I can go back to picking on FO4 by bailing you out with a pack of raiders

I haven't had too many issues with FO4 but NV on 360 crashed all the time. Actually it would get stuck in loading screens. Very frustrating but the game so good I didn't mind. If they ever do a remastered version of FO3 or NV, I hope they remember to fix all those issues.

My PC install of FO:NV is not only fully officially patched, but has a massive “unofficial patch” that fixes literally thousands of bugs. It’s still very tough to play NV without it.

Oh, I'm 100% in. I'm launching rounds into inappropriate places immediately.

I will definitely give it a shot. I just don't understand how these people do this. They worked on this for years and then they give it away.
I guess people will donate to this team and help them out some.
Its crazy for sure.
