OP: why are you in such a hurry to raise the dose if you are getting results with the dose you are on?
It’s doctor’s recs. He said we will try the three doses 5, 7.5, & 10, then see what’s best for me.
I think 7.5 will be it because I noticed after a few weeks on the 5mg dose, on the last 2-3 days, it was wearing off.
I do believe this medicine doesn’t work for everyone. I know a guy that’s been on 15mg for months, and he’s still huge. He only lost about 30lbs. I don’t know how his diet changed or if he works out.

There's currently lawsuits against makers of Ozempic and Mounjaro for a variety of things for one.
There are lawsuits for every medicine ever made, because people react differently to any drugs.
Probably most of these lawsuits are due to idiots not using the medicine correctly, and now they blame the makers.
When Viagra first came out, guys were dropping dead from heart attacks. They were all excited to get a boner, and killed over.

Costco is starting a weight loss program... for I think $180 you can enroll in it, and they will evaluate you, and if warranted, send you a referral to get Ozempic or Mounjaro prescribed. I don't think the $180 covers the cost of the drugs.
This is after, of course, you go to the food court and get your $1.50 1/4 pound all beef hot dog and 20oz refillable soda.
What was the weight loss combo that was all the rage for a few years several years ago? Phen-Fen? Worked like a charm... until they found out after a few years that it caused pulmonary hypertension, took it off the market and settled a huge class action suit.
I am certainly NOT saying that will happen with these... by any means.

Curious, why do you recommend first stacking tesamorlin/hexarelin , and then moving to cjc-1295/ipa ?

I don't think taking these drugs is sustainable long term we are already seeing perplexing side effects and issues from some (not all) users some that are permanent that are not good.
Provide links or GTFO.

175 lbs and 199 lbs are both "sub-200". What is your actual goal?
I’m shooting for around 195, which will be 70lbs loss. The “chart” says I should weigh 175 at my height (6’). I think that’s a little thin for me. I have a large frame. I think 195 will be good.

lawsuits for every medicine. people sue over everythign and jump to the highest dose thinking more is "better"

I'd say things like severe gastroparesis
happens in less than 0.01%
quote:
cyclic vomiting syndrome
happens mainly because people dont want to change their diet, so the medicine does what it is supposed to do and punishes you

You can say these cases are 'rare' but these drugs are becoming more and more popular for weight loss so what happens in the future?
what happens is we have less fat people

Just because the human body produces GLP-1 naturally doesn't mean people should be recreational using these drugs anymore than someone who recreational uses testosterone or hGH just because the body produces it naturally.
yet the BB community has been using these drugs safely for 5+ decades
sure some dumbasses abuse things and take it too far. they do that with every drug, even basic aspirin.
doesnt make the drugs unsafe for 99% of people

unless you stop losing weight and upping the steps and upping the protein doesnt help, then stay your arse on the same dosage. frick what your doctor says, they get paid to up the dose
and start weighing and tracking macros on myfitnesspal so you have an idea how much you are actually eating so you can adjust, really important for after you come off, if you come off. prolly be best for you to take 1/2 dose eventually to help with the blood sugar and a1c issues

the medicine just makes you eat less. doesnt burn fat in and of itself. it works for every single person, its just a mater of If the person is willing to change.

what happens when the people who rely on this either can't get them, can't afford them, or stop taking them all together? We both know the answer to that.

there is not a shortage. its the drug companies keeping supply low.
you can get it out the same god damn factory in china by the busload. china didnt stop making it for all the drug companies all the sudden. and yea the shite comes from china just like 99% of our medicines.
and this is a dumb strawman arguement for sure.

Whats dumb is playing armchair chemist and using these things for weight loss without any medical supervision and I'd argue even with medical supervision things can go very wrong. Its not going to end well for a lot of these folks but whatever it takes right?

who are you talking about? 99% are getting from their doctor, might be a med spa but still a doctor.....prolly less than 1% of people getting from grey market and even most of those are only switching due to cost and still under doctors care

we have 2 outcomes
1) they do nothing and stay the same. because lets be honest 99% of people are not losing the weight naturally
2) take the medicine, deal with some small sides for 99.99% of people
which one do you think provides better medical outcomes?

quote:You realize these side effects very rarely occur right? You sound like you’re getting your info from the dipshits on main stream media. As for the infamous gastroparesis you hear of, it’s occurring mostly in diabetics who are already prone to it.

So with more and more people taking these who are not diabetics there won't be more people with side effects or other issues? Is that your position? I've never been obese or a diabetic so I'm glad I don't personally know these things I only know when I see or hear the fatties complaining. Good to know with more people jumping on the bandwagon there won't be any health complications

what kind of stance is this if its % based...
so using your conclusions everyone should have to get the covid shot right because 0.01% of people have a good chance of dying from covid
see how stupid is sounds

I mean we have documented cases of the side effects and weird things happening to people. Maybe they are all just using them incorrectly?
Kinda like how every bodybuilder who passes away at 30 had a family history 'genetic' defect of some sort? It wasn't all the stuff they were using that they shouldn't have been?
Posted on 4/5/24 at 1:10 pm to ronricks
You’re right, man. Fattys should definitely not seek out this drug that could save their life due to a 0.1% chance of GI side effects. What the frick was I thinking!
