anybody remember laying across the back dashboard of a moving car? My Dad's LTD had a back dashboard you could serve dinner on. The trunk could house a family of squatters.
I rode in the cubby behind the seats in a these more than once.
I remember the '67 having a lot more room. The 76 was claustrophobic to say the least.

Born in 1973. I remember all of this.
Everybody was skinnier back then because it was pre high fructose corn syrup and the only processed food you were going to find was a Swanson dinner.
Kids played all day every day outside back then. Bikes, baseball, football.

Coming back from my grandmas in Arkansas one night these two girls ran out in the road, college age girls, and wanted my dad to stop. Just south of texarkana, they had some wildass story about someone after them with a knife.
They crammed in the ack of my dads Biscayne with my two brothers and I and rode all the way back to Bossier. I wondered the entire way if I was about to die.

I still remember listening to 8 track Nazareth hair of the dog. Was a big deal when the space shuttle being piggy backed landed at barksdale. Riding in the back of paw paws truck going like a bat out of hell with kids sliding all over the place. And there were only two genders.

17) Notice how lean everyone is in the photos. Not a fat person in sight.
I always find that odd because that was back in the era of "clean your plate". I assume that it caused us to be full on less calorically dense food and not wanting a bag of chips or a candy bar 5 minutes later.
I frequently heard "clean your plate" from my parents, as well, but the portions on the plates back then were MUCH smaller than the portions today. In addition, we didn't eat junk food between meals.

Awwwww.....Farrah Fawacett Majors, one of my first loves. IIRC, on Wed night I'd take a study break to "Charlies Angels" on a 17" black and white tv in the break room of the all-men's dorm I stayed in. "Charlie's Angels" was the only tv show I'd break for every week.

I remember when this game was considered "sick and twisted" and folks called for it to be banned. I'd love to see how they reacted to Mortal Kombat and Grand Theft Auto games.

Born in 79 but I can still smell the fountain in the mall by the mall arcade. The “older kids” would be smoking and have combs in their back pockets hanging out. When we would walk out of the mall all of the muscle cars riding around. People genuinely seemed “cooler” then. Also remember riding in my uncles 57 Chevy thinking I was so big dog.

What about bringing a shotgun to school to show your buddies and not getting arrested or have a mass shooting event break out?
Having a dip in shop class. Only pulling out your can after the teacher put in a fattie
