She's being charged with being in a part of the building it was unlawful for her to be in, and with yelling lewd comments at officers.

you like to play the semantic games with people. if you actually read the link that you provided? It plainly states that she "observed people getting into physical confrontations with the police..." outside of that, she "...observed barrieres..." she "...observed people walking past the barriers and not being chased..."
so, this means she is charged with being in a protected place. period.
are you and your limitless stupidity saying that she SHOULD be charged with "fighting with police" (as you say) because she was near the fight? you serious?
