I have never seen a coach almost universally hated in the media quite like Kim Mulkey

And if you don’t think this fueled the hatred this team received this year, then maybe you aren’t seeing the big picture of what is going on. It is politically/ideologically motivated rage focused on coach KM, and unhinged at that.
How do you rail on KM for not getting down with the wokeness, and then simultaneously attack her and the team for blowing it with the national anthem as if she’s pulling a move from the left to make a big political statement? That’s what I mean when I say unhinged. They hate them so much that they will use anything to throw shade on her and the LSU WBB team. On one hand you’re too conservative, and on the other, you don’t like America and want to make a political statement. Make up your mind. Which is it? I’ll tell you what it is. It’s that they hate this woman because she doesn’t fall in line and regurgitate their talking points, and so they have it out for her and this affects LSU as well.
If anything, a case could maybe be made that their heads weren’t in the game from the start, and that would be a lot more plausible than some of the nonsense I’m reading this morning.
This personally only makes me an even bigger fan of Kim Mulkey and the WBB team, but I think it’s important to understand where all of this stems from.

Up until a few hours ago I loved her so much that I said “she won’t lose after being attacked like that” and made a wager.
This morning I find myself, like Air Supply, all out of love.

They hate her because she doesn’t go along with the liberal leftist bs
100% the reason
100% the reason

She was beloved until about 3-4 years ago when she was anti lockdown, didn’t support Brittany Greiner, and then wouldn’t apologize for the shoving match with SC.
So after that, they were out to get her. After the South Carolina thing, it seemed to really ramp up
You have to remember, the left media hates big meanies

I appreciate that she doesn’t give a shite about any of it.

Yes let’s get back to the maga “liberal media” conspiracy theories, because we haven’t had enough of that in the past week. I swear y’all just park yourselves in these echo chambers and work yourselves into a rabid frenzy. And from what? Most of it is imagined hypothetical nonsense that your brains eventually convert into “facts”. No wonder it’s so easy to gas light you.

Bobby Knight comes to mind. The longer he coached it seemed the more the media didn't like him.

The national anthem nonsense could draw more coaches out to defend Mulkey. Many teams are not/were not on the court for the national anthem. The targeting of Mulkey is very clear in this situation.

Its great for the sport.
Until yesterday, no one really cared about girls basketball. LSU and Clark made it an event.

It would have been hard to win that game even if they would have played better. CC was on fire and couldn’t be stopped.

Bobby Knight? Parcells? Belichik?

It seems that for many of you, there is no event/subject that doesn’t involve the conspiratorial liberal agenda. Yes, much of MSM seems to lean to the left. Not all of it , there are right leaning media outlets as well.
Kim and the young women are not the first or last athletes that will be criticized wrongfully in the media.
They will be fine.
They also didn’t “protest” the national anthem as coach Mulkey explained.
Quit looking for your boogey man and you will find that he disappears.
You don’t need to “wake up” to the conspiracies. Try reason and skepticism instead of fear and hatred. And smile more ??

If you watched her reaction at the post game PC, when asked about the anthem, she seriously looked clueless as to any issue. "This is the way my teams have always handled our pre game, on the court, activities".

Was there outrage when USC and UCONN were in the locker room last night during the anthem?

They can’t stand the success MAGA Kim has had. It goes against their leftist narratives.

What we have seen from Kim Mulkey in the last week alone should drive anyone away from the thought that she would knowingly condone skipping the national anthem. You would have to be easily influenced to reach that conclusion.
Yes, her team wasn’t on the floor and it was a bad look, but I have seen nothing from her that would make me think she deliberately thumbed her nose at the anthem.

Wouldn’t surprise me if she pulls a Saban and decides “enough of this bullshite.”
She came here to win a NC and accomplished that sooner than she probably expected. Doubt she hangs around for more than another couple years.
