Nabers is a full-grown man freak.

Nah, discussion revolves around the hardness of it
Deion jones & Jarvis Landry are prob the best case studies, among others

What does he gain from running it?

Nabers, unless a team trades up, he’ll be the 6th in the first round. That would be the NY Giants. The last LSU WR taken by the Giants in the first round. 2014 with the 12th pick, OBJ.
Too add, the Giants haven’t had a 1,000 yard receiving since 2018, that receiver, OBJ.

Multiple teams have him as WR1.
Of course everyone says that when he puts on a show. But certainly helped his cause today

LE, ignore it, man. It’s not that LSU has a fast track. But LSU has a faster track than Indianapolis
I’m not sure why people think that’s an insult to LSU players

Don't be surprised if the Chargers take him at 5.

I agree, I see much of the same as they do. Enjoy your day my friend. A few of my friends are at Pro Day at LSU. I talked with a long time NFL Scout yesterday. He and I are along the same line of thinking.

We good Vermy
Just providing some context. Guy had an excellent workout. Everything on paper matches the tape. Everyone should sleep well tonight

Zona and Chargers both need WR help. Wouldn’t surprise at all, so many teams need a WR, Zona could use a TE also to go with a WR.

Lucas Oil replaced its turf in 2018 after both those examples and as of the 2024 combine used something that's similar to what is in the LSU practice facility. Installed by the same company and everything
2016 combine (Deion Jones year) had nobody break 4.30, 9 players go sub 4.4
2024 combine had 2 break 4.30, 20 players go sub 4.4
2023 combine had 1 break 4.30, 17 players go sub 4.4
Jim Nagy on 3/19/24: "Seeing lots of slow 40 times coming in from pro-day circuit. Everyone knows Combine has a fast track. Conversely, many of these schools have spongy, slow surfaces. So why are agents still advising players not to run in Indy?"
Lance Zierlein on 3/19/24: "This is dead-on. I was shocked to see some of the players who need to run well skip out on combine surface. Do everything else at your pro day if you like, but by all means - RUN ON THE FAST INDY TRACK!"
I don't think there's a ton of difference between LSU and Indy running surfaces nowadays. The game has changed
Probably the only thing that is more favorable about LSU's pro day is the "official times" for some of the lower level prospects who don't get individual scrutiny on twitter. I'm sure those are somewhat favorably listed.
But for a guy like Nabers? Nah, what's listed on the LSU website will be pretty consistent with all the national media types reporting on it and what the NFL scouts actually have

Unlike Lester you actually brought receipts

I am taking Nabers for two reasons
he has shown the ability to make absolutely insane tough catches in clutch moments, his mental toughness is not in question
he grew up with very modest means in Broussard, LA so he is hungry and driven. Harrison’s dad being a HOF doesnt really help his case, he grew up rich.
If all things are equal then I want the guy who is more driven because he and his family dont have shite

How is that for some context with your terrible posting arse?

You didn’t have to post all all that. I never said Indy had a slow track lol

Wasn’t he at Comeaux High school? If that is still a high school? My grandparents lived in Broussard and there used to be nothing but soybeans and Sugar cane fields. I will age myself here but i remember them building St.Thomas More High School. It was the Acadia Mall then St.Thomas More then my grandparents. A lot has changed.

Good points Dallastiger45. Indy track was slow prior to replacement. LSU track is faster than most. The "ref" at the start line in Indy back in the day was very strict, often called guys back for quick starts.
