One thing Wade had was an eye for NBA talent.

Shout out Duop. He wasn't near ready when he left campus... That guy worked n worked to get there. Really awesome for him.

Duop made an incredible leap in his one year under Wade. He still had a long
way to go, but his play his senior year made me think he could possibly make the NBA. Nobody played harder than him

Duop was decent his first year at LSU under JJ, on a really bad team, but he was exciting to watch under Wade his senior year as a Tiger.

And



Wade really loved coaching Duop. You could hear it in the after-game interviews.

Absolutely, by all accounts a good kid. Very raw when he got here, had not really played much organized basketball at the time. Well done Duop!
