The edited "House Of The Rising Sun" leaves out my favorite verse:
Well, I got one foot on the platform
The other foot on the train
I'm goin' back to New Orleenz
To wear that ball and chain

Brown Eyed Girl
They censored "making love in the green grass"
The bleep during Boy Named Sue is terrible. I understand it's gotta be bleeped but bleep technology wasn't very good at that time

That reminds me of one I missed. The son of a gun version of The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

I’ve heard them cut the piano break part off at the end of Layla before. Sacrilege.
Radio almost always cuts off the very end of Owner of A Linely Heart where they modulate down. One of my favorite parts of the song.
Forgot, Gin and Juice:
Smokin, Smokin instead of Smokin Indo

Frampton - Baby I Love Your Way
I can see the sunset in your eyes
Brown and gray and blues besides
Clouds are stalking islands in the sun
I wish I could buy one out of season
But don't, oh no no, hesitate, la di dah
'Cause your love just won't wait, just won't wait

Wasn't the bleep on the album (Live at Folsom)?
I just figured it was for comic affect.

I think one of the all-time worst examples is My Sharona. The shortening version chops the lead off right as it’s really getting going. I bet a lot of people have never even heard the full version because radio went from it to the shortened version a long time ago.
Shortened version
The lead gets cut off at the 3:11 mark.
Full version
Nearly the same timetable except the solo keeps going. 50+ seconds of great lead guitar cut off the radio decades ago.
