I’m sorry, but Hurd is just not a weekend guy. He wasn’t last year either, he just caught fire late out of the bullpen.

He was pitching fine and his pitch count wasn't high through one batter this inning. Hurd has a way of completely losing it and snowballing fast. Unless you think we should always have someone warming just in case Hurd faces any adversity, then what should he have really done? Hell, he actually responded to the HR with a strikeout.
