Released ten years ago this week. I know we have some fans here. To my ears, I don’t think there has been a better album released since. Red Eyes is a top ten all time song for me.

Under the Pressure

Red Eyes

An Ocean Between the Waves

Eyes to the Wind

I like WOD a lot but wouldn't put them on any top ten list.

You may not put them on a list, but that album is absolutely in the top ten of that year, if not the decade.

I was lucky enough to catch them live right before they blew up. I was standing front row at a music venue in Charlotte while they played this album. I think the cover was $20.

Lost in a Dream is a good album.

But their music just kind of drones on and on with little dynamic. In the right setting, it's good, but it just doesn't move the needle much for me.

Damn time flies. I still remember us raving on here about this record like it was yesterday. Their other stuff is good, but this album is perfection.

Five star album. Still heavy in me spaced out evening rotations.

Layered guitars are the shite

It doesn't get much better than an album opener like Under The Pressure.

Listening to this album again tonight and wondering, does any album, ever, have three songs as good as Under the Pressure, Red Eyes and An Ocean Between the Waves? Plenty of other great tracks on the album too, but my goodness, what a trio.

For a long stretch it was bed time music in my house in lieu of having a tv show or such on for background noise.

Was a great soundtrack.

I nearly passed out when I saw them live.

Come on people! It's Lost in THE Dream. And yes, its an incredible album.

I remember back in 2014 I had met this woman on OK Cupid and we had gone out a few times. She was cool and we had similar tastes in music. So we decided so make a Spotify playlist for the other person. Ya know, the modern day mix tape. So I was listening to hers and it was not bad. Then I came to the song "Eyes to the Wind" by a band called The War on Drugs (who I had never heard of). I really liked it. It sounded like Bob Dylan if he was in his 30s in 2014. So I decided to pull up the album and did a little deeper. That's when I heard Red Eyes and I was hooked! Huge fan ever since. Didn't pan out with that chick but I'll shoot her a message once in a blue moon to check in and say thanks for the introduction.

Damn I can’t believe I fricked up the title. I’ll take the L there.

Anyone check out their two recent live albums (LIVE DRUGS and LIVE DRUGS AGAIN)? Both are great.
