overdone, fancy pictures are a microcosm of society. It's like the "fancy" hipster chefs that wear black latex gloves with highly produced videos of their mediocre food. I cringe when I see most photoshoot pictures. I much prefer shitty candid pictures of people living their real life.

Social media has twisted that generation beyond repair
I taught a training class to a group of guys in my profession earlier this week. One of the students, in his mid 20's, walked up after and asked me for my social media contacts so he could "follow" me. He seemed stunned when I said "I don't do that shite." fricker could have offered to buy me a beer or a cup of coffee after class if he had more questions. Social media is a cancer.

Gen Z couples: “My now fiancée did such a great job acting surprised for our proposal shoot. I sucked her dick really good.”

If you want to go full d!ckhead route, I have all the DVDs containing marriage photos from my ex-wife from almost 15 years ago. You know when she asked for them?
My mother and father divorced, but she has all the pics of the past.
On the other hand, my in-laws are divorced and one day all pics from their past just showed up at my doorstep. I am now being held responsible for caring for them and ensure they are preserved.
I was a little ticked off, as the message to my wife was your childhood/our legacy was a sham. That and they no longer want the responsibility of preserving them, while I have this stuffed in my house with small children and crap constantly going missing.

Daughter got engaged this weekend, and it was a surprise. She thought they were going to have brunch with friends, so she was dressed appropriately. He stopped along the way under some oak trees near the beach. He had a photographer nearby take photos. Our daughter didn’t even notice the photographer until after the pictures were taken. After he proposed, he texted us to come to the site, and we all congratulated them and took family photos. We even brought her dog for the pics.
As her mother, I was glad to have photos of that special moment. She truly was surprised, and the cost was minimal.
The future groom has no social media at all, and the future bride has very small followings (deliberate decision-family and close friends only) on Instagram and FB, so it wasn’t done to get thousands of likes.
Both are Gen Z, but neither acts like it. They are both quite conservative and traditional.

I sent a friend a youtube documentary via text the other day. It was highly relevant to his current interest and I thought he would love it. Never heard anything so a few days later when I saw him I asked his thoughts on it. "Oh it was awesome, I posted it to my social media".
WTF dude. I think I'm done trying to talk to you.
This is a grown man with a family fully focused on being a social media star.

Professional photographer etc for the social media posts.

What do you expect from a generation that had a spectacle made out of their own gender reveal party and has graduation for every grade?

engagement/proposal shoots
Seen quite a few. Expensive as shite. Also seen some of those engagements go to shite, couple splits, shitload of money spent for nothing, but I guess bride-to-be still had her “me moment”.

half naked maternity photo shoots, what do you do with a bunch of solo pregnancy shots?
Hang them in your office to remind the patriarchy of your feminine identity.
