Tax day, 4/15 is the ideal time to shoot for because the chance for cold fronts is slim. However, doing it now is ok, it may just not work as fast until it the soil gets a little warmer.

My zoysia is about halfway greened up. I'm gonna wait a couple of weeks.

I feel like this is a good rule of thumb for the average homeowner who ferts twice a year.

But if I’m greened up, I’m throwin’ down! I’m always watching the GFS 240 to 380 hours so it’s pretty easy to tell if a major cold front looms.

Got a decent shot at Easter for 40° again, but I don’t see the potential for 20s happening until next winter.
