it doesn’t come out till June.
Ahh gotcha.
Gonna need a new thread when the show actually comes out. We should just change the name of this thread to Disney/Wokeism/DEI general complaints or something
Im sure kaiju has already stated the show is gonna be terrible just like he has done for 1,000 shows that he hasn't watched and claimed were terrible and been proven wrong about.
I do think he'll be right this time though and it'll just encourage him to keep reviewing shows/movies he hasn't watched but he has seen youtube critics predictions about.

Hasbro’s latest Star Wars reveals may have been ostensibly for its villain-themed “Imperial March” this month, but really, it was all about The Acolyte. Just a day after we got our first look at the next Star Wars series in action, Hasbro came prepared with a bevy of new figures inspired by the show, and then some.
The Acolyte figures sadly won’t be out until fall this year, but it’s still nice to see Hasbro has a lot of plans for the show across both its 6" Black Series and 3.75" Vintage Collection toy lines. The wave of figures brings in both Amandla Stenberg’s mysterious dark assassin, Mae, and a whole host of Jedi (a Carrie-Anne Moss action figure, at long last!) to the series.
The Acolyte wasn’t the only Star Wars project to get reveals today, however. New additions to the Vintage Collection line include new releases of Princess Leia and R2-D2 inspired by A New Hope, while the Black Series saw a suitably menacing twist with a new, holographic Darth Maul figure and Moff Gideon’s sinister helmet from the third season of The Mandalorian as a new electronic role-play item.

Leslye Headland,
She would have been a perfect extra in the original Star Wars Cantina scene, no makeup required.

It looks like they are counting likes but not dislikes on my YouTube app.

Can’t recall seeing a film franchise get bastardized and ruined as badly as this. It’s unbelievable

After seeing her picture, I’m pretty sure Harvey wasn’t chasing her around the office. She was probably a talent scout for him.

Also going to assume the dangerous warrior from the past is the real and misunderstood hero of this epic series
Yes, she wouldn’t have had to turn to the darkside if it wasn’t for the patriarchy

Likely. And as she's a militant Lesbian, I'd not be surprised if he let her watch.
Nothing about this person's personal or professional life indicates that she be in charge of ANYTHING. Especially nothing regarding a IP as massive and well known as Star Wars.
She's not a fan. Never was. She's an activist, first and last. And she's a horrible human being.

The menstruation on the poster is so subtle.
This one may be the final straw.
Although by all accounts it looks like the franchise is already dead.
This one will bomb harder than Mando 3, Boba, Obi, and Ashoka.
It’s been a downhill slide for years. The comments on the YouTube trailer page are hilarious.
First Star Wars trailer to have more dislikes than likes.
Put a chick(s) in it and make her gay.
And lame.

The camel broke its back well before TRoS and the galloping space horsies on the hull of a Star Destroyer!

Nah, despite following TLJ, TROS still made over a billion. And Mando season 1 was very popular. Sell star wars to another company and fans will line up on day 1 all over again.

I saw a YouTube video where she said this was a Star Wars project made “by women for women”. That makes about as much sense as making a Barbie project made “by men for men”.

1 billion isn't the mark of a successful, popular movie. Ask Captain Marvel. TRoS was simply a recipient of proximity. Star Wars is dead. The corpse grew colder over each subsequent D+ series. Oh, and Solo lost money. Never forget that.
The day Star Wars gains back its fans is the day Joss Whedon makes a sequel to Serenity.

The moment this was announced everyone knew this would be the most radical feminist star wars project and that's exactly what it is.
The bloody tampon poster, Weinstein lesbian director, multi-racial LGBTQ female main actress, majority female stand-ins and side characters, feminist tropes dropped in the dialogue and further social commentary promoting radical feminist dogmas throughout the movie.
Funny how they need star wars to do this, huh?
George Lucas wanted this as he handpicked Kathleen Kennedy who then seemingly set up an aggressive recruitment program with every gender studies department in the entire state of California to hire writers and other corporate support staff.
It's hard to think this wasn't always just an open effort to completely destroy star wars entirely.
Almost like they're targeting male-dominated spaces on purpose. Notice that all of the typically male-dominated media spaces are being backdoor run by the most angry repulsive activist cliques and they're force feeding feminism into them.

Weekly reminder that Disney admitted to forcing their political ideology and admitted that it is being wholesale rejected, resulting in billions of losses and a share price half of what it was 3 years ago.
The WEF folks promoted "stakeholder" capitalism as a majorly profitable model, which where the ESG/DEI shite comes from. Turns out being a woman or having non-white skin doesn't magically produce profit, or innovation.

Because they have zero imagination of their own. This is being done in literally every Western entertainment property.
Star Wars
Star Trek
The Witcher
Wheel of Time
Amazon's Rings of Power
Terminator
Marvel
DC
etc...
From tv shows, movies to video games. Everywhere but Korea and Japan. Though Japan is starting to bend the knee some too, sad to say.
