They lost their conf tourney to Drake. Basically, one bid league and they didn't get the auto bid.

There is zero benefit for these small school leagues to have the tournament decide who goes to ncaa. Name the regular season winner the rep and be done with it

They lost to Michigan State by 12 points.

They beat #10 seed Drake but also lost to Drake twice.

Once you're slotted as a potential 12-16 seed it's win your tournament or bust...which is a sorry way to give out bids in 2024.

Good thing is he's a sophomore. No chance he gets drafted this year, so he'll for sure be back for another year. 70% chance he's here for another 2 years, hopefully ISU can make a comeback next 2 years

Are conference tournaments big money makers? Is that why conferences keep them?
