Out here in God's Country of St Bernard, had a short quick hard rain, now just cloudy and dreary

Right when I thought the storms were over and the sun was out, it’s windy as motherfreaker right now with more rain coming down.

ETA: Now it's hailing although small, about the size of pennies.
ETA2: Hail has stopped but raining like a frog strangler...
ETA3: Winds are almost calm, slow steady rain and a lot cooler now than before the squall line came through.

Clouds look as eerie as f too near industriplex. That storm coming out of the northwest is moving fast as hell getting here.

NWS Norman
@NWSNorman
This 5.25 inch diameter hail stone fell in SE Ada OK on 3/14/24. It's a new record for the largest stone reported in Pontotoc County since 1950 (old record was 3.25" near Francis 3/26/2017). It's also the largest in OK since 5/23/2011, when 6" hail fell in Caddo County.

The hot springs village tornado was an Ef-2 with max winds of 115mph and 1000 yds wide.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a tornado being that wide and only an EF-2.

No severe weather here, but thought this was pretty cool
Never seen the fronts hit each other like that.

Got that outflow boundary from the storms to the north surging south and interacting with some juiced air coming in off the Gulf to spark a few showers/storms. Nice catch!

A monster hailer is currently attempting an illegal border crossing.

Had a good friend die in a storm related accident this afternoon north of BR. Tree fell on her car. She was set to retire in June, having just beat cancer.
