My yard is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. After the drought killed it off, I’m having a lot of this pop up that I’ve never seen before.

Poa, clover, dichondra, creeping Charlie, perhaps a bit of carpet grass, and the big one may be Dallisgrass.

You have no actual turf there
Yes, start over.

You have a frick shack of weeds living rent free in your yard. Spray some roundup and resod.

That’s one of the worst spots of the yard, it’s not like that throughout . I agree, though, that it’s horrendous. I’m seeing stuff pop up that I haven’t seen in the 8 years I’ve been in this home and all I can think is that the drought is somehow to blame.

Heat will kill rescuegrass. Mow it down.

My yard is also a complete shite show of weeds after the drought. It will take a few springs to get it back. I'm not in any rush. It's going to cost a small fortune. I'm just going concentrate on the front / side. Then worry about the back next year. My dogs just run around and make ruts in the grass anyway.

same here. I’m not gonna put a lot of $$$ into it this year. The boys soccer play has destroyed the back yard and front is in need of help. Just gonna cut higher this summer.

I does look like whatever rye variety the state hydro seeded the ditch banks with after redoing our road. That shite was all in my yard.

Looks nothing like Dallisgrass. It’s rescuegrass.
