I suffered major damage in my backyard. First the drought was disastrous followed by the hard freeze. Looks like a recently abandoned junk dealer property.

That looks like rye grass to me. All.of the weeds/grasses I see there will die when it gets hot. I would just keep it mowed and see if your regular grass will regenerate.
