The exact same thing happened with Hillary and her server data. She gave it to her attorneys for them to remove her personal emails (Chelsea's wedding stuff and Hillary's yoga plans

The same rule applies. He’s going to be a former president at some point.
It’s not like anyone for the last 100 years was overly concerned with former presidential document retention to this point. No one would be looking into Biden’s handling of documents if they weren’t doing the same to trump. Simply stating that this wasn’t a thing until the dems made it a thing to go after trump.
I’m quite sure most government folks that handle classified info and aren’t regularly in the intelligence community likely frick this up.

This is what happened. The went after Trump ignoring Biden for the same thing. Trump and others knew he had this and they got caught.
The way Biden and his team handled this, those docs should be declassified due to their handling. We the people should be demanding to see what Biden took.

There is a world of difference between the scrutiny Trump is facing over this and Biden.
Trump had plenary powers as president to declassify anything he saw fit to declassify - the buck on classification stops at the president’s desk.
Biden took classified documents as VP where no such power exists.

It is against former Presidents. However, biden was vice president. That is a very different thing.
He could not declassify things as a vice president that a president can do.
So bidden should be hosed.

Actually Trump could have done exactly that.
What was a previously understood rule was that when a former president removed documents when he left the white house they were presumed declassified.

We need a district attorney in a red county to bring charges against Joe Biden. The Democrats have taken the genie out of the bottle, so fight fire with fire.
