Backup qb should be very low on the list of priorities for a rebuilding team which is where this team is at this point. If you have to go to the backup, you want an Ian Book type who can't mess around and win a game for you

We need to go as cheap as possible. Haener should be the backup. It’s not like this is some championship level team.

we drafted a little fruit cake from Fresno State that looked good last pre-season. I'd imagine they will save the money and roll with Haener as backup.
