Suggestions for Kauai

Just booked the Grand Hyatt for this summer. Excited to be taking the family (3 boys, ages 9-15) and exploring the island. My husband and I visited several years ago and I remember finding some great information on this board when we went. I read through one of the posts in the all inclusive travel post but the other post is seems to be gone.
Could you all recommend some cool things for us to do and suggestions on who to book with? I'd like to do the boat ride along the NaPali Coast, helicopter tour, & aqueduct tubing. Anything else you can suggest? We love adventure!

Poipu Beach at sunset. We went two different nights and probably saw 40-50 sea turtles come into the beach.
Lydgate Beach has two protected pools that are fun for snorkeling.
Lumaha'i Beach has a river that meets the ocean, which is great for swimming. They have a few rope swings you can use too.

That’s going to be a great trip! The breakfast at the Grand Hyatt is noteworthy!
Definitely see the Napoli Coast by boat, go to Kalaheo Coffee shop, drive around the island with Gypsy Guide (fantastic tour), have dinner at Spezia in Koloa, and snorkel in front of the Sheraton in Poipu. We have been to Kauai two times in the past two years, best place I’ve ever been.

Grand Hyatt Kauai
In September, we did 3 nights at 1 Hotel Hanalei and 3 at the Grand Hyatt. For families the Hyatt is the right choice, but 1 Hotel was over the top luxury. Perfect for couples.
We used Na Pali Catamaran for a snorkeling tour and Blue Hawaiian out of the Princeville airport the helicopter tour. Both were great, and more convenient to the 1 Hotel.
The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook had good info and we used the companion phone app. It requires a subscription, so wait until just before you leave to sign up and don't forget to cancel when you return - I think it's like $10 for 30 days. It gives a running commentary and history on what you are seeing as you drive. Used it to take a couple of detours to waterfalls and also a day trip to Waimea canyon.

Da Crack burrito stand. Tuna burrito… yes please. There’s a fish house that I can’t remember the name that had smoked marlin which was amazing. One of the big zip lining places over an old plantation was a waste of time. Boat ride to Napali coast was awesome (we went in Jan so water was insanely rough, you can walk on the beach during calm summer days). Shipwreck beach behind the Hyatt was very rough and we were advised not to swim (again during winter so summer it might be calmer). We took surf lesson and DIY snorkled at Poipu beach which is great.
We’re heading to Maui for spring break. I wanted a do-over in Kauai but the kids wanted to try somewhere else.

Highly recommend Captain Napali and their 1/2 day zodiac boat Napali Coast tour. We’ve done it twice and it’s one of the best things we’ve ever done anywhere.
