Yea, with daylight saving time year-round, not regular standard time... Reading comprehension is not your forte.

I mean if you keep changing time zones and circumstances sure.

You said sunrise at 9AM was terrible. I said as opposed to 8AM, it wasn't that big a deal. You then said it was a big deal because it'd be dark for bus pickup if sunrise was at 9AM as opposed to 8AM. I said my kids bus runs at 7AM and you said that sunrise would be at 7AM.

So either the sun rises at 7AM/8AM or it's dark out at 8AM/9AM. Either way I don't really care just stop changing the damn time, but you aren't being consistent on your sunrise dark outside times

I'm a DST guy, but this thread is exactly why it should remain as it is now. People seem split on this 50/50. It's more beneficial to have daylight savings time in the summer and standard time in the winter. Everyone can just suck up the one day a year where you know you're getting an hour less sleep. Most people can actually even plan for it if it bothers you that much since you're told exactly what night it will be every March. Do you account for all the other Saturdays during the year when you go out and get home an hour or more later than normal and lose that hour of sleep? This is not something difficult for 95% of Americans to handle.

No. I like "falling back" in November.

just move it by 30 min and call it done. Time is an illusion, man

I've come to the conclusion that this is the best approach.

As far as where I am (Alabama) we will only have sunrise after 7am for all of four days and it will be back to 6:30am by early April. By the time it gets to the heart of Summer we are almost back to 5:30am. By the time we change again to start November sunrise is back to just after 7:00am.

Split the difference by thirty minutes and stop dicking with the clocks!

Just thinking how much more convenient allowable shooting times for hunting would be.

They said they're all too busy trying to pass the "Rape the Corpse of America" bill.

Much prefer that to sunset at 4 PM.

I agree this statement is true, but on this particular topic I would imagine the anti-DST group is a small vocal minority. Most people either like it or DGAF.

I don't disagree. I'm fine with it staying as is. It's such a trivial thing to get worked up over imo.
