He’s hitting .280 and has a proven track record. Dumb thread.

We’ll have to have a discussion about him at some point, but give him more time.

In limited action Frey has made a case for more innings. But the injury obviously sets that back a few games.

Josh Pearson hasn’t been much better. He is hitting .275. This team better start hitting are they will lose a lot of SEC games.

Larson?

I’m not saying Bingham should be benched btw. I’m just throwing out someone you could make an argument for.

today is the first time this year that Mac Bingham has not reached base in a game he has started. And almost had an INF hit earlier

Bingham isn’t even our worst OF in the game.

Jay didn’t do Mac any favors asking him to bunt after the 3-0 count

Granted, it was a horrible bunt for such an easy pitch

It’s a bunt. He didn’t ask him to attempt it down 0-2 in the count. There are hundreds on high school kids that could have done a better job there.

.280 isn’t exactly great in non conference college baseball play. It’s too early to give up on him, but saying .280 with no power is ok is just as crazy as saying he needs to see the bench.

You’re missing the point

Of course the bunt should have been better

Braswell K’d anyway after that

You get in command of the count with 2 on and no outs with 3 ABs left in the game and the pitcher MUST throw it down the middle

Milazzo up, bunt. Sure, no problem.

I don’t think Mac Bingham is that guy. He doesn’t think he is for sure, and Jay showed doubt in him

Does Jay ask Tommy White to bunt there?
