As a skeptic of this baw, he sure did build on something this season. Was extremely worried we would be horrible again. Next season he hopefully gets us to 11 or so wins in conference and we can sneak into the tourney.

So as tiger fans we have been reduced to celebrate mediocre? In case you didn’t know McNeese’s record with Will Wade as HC is 28-3, 17-1 in conference. Most important is that McNeese is projected to be a 13 seed in the NCAA tournament.

I don’t like that we’re celebrating .500 ball, but I have to give credit where due. The program is on a positive trajectory from a year ago. While I still believe that nuking the program was unnecessary and cowardly, this is a positive step in the right direction. Next year should be NCAA tournament or bust:
