But you're in a dangerous spot here. Assuming you're mid-30s based on username, at least I'm thinking about your generation doing the same thing as 24 year olds. (I'm addressing your comment, not OPs issues)
Yoga pants, etc. I appreciate women looking good, but you look for our cars/trucks and we look at your assets (before what is in your mind) in the first 3/4 of a second. There is a difference between when you haven't had your hair or nails done in two months, even with a banging bod, versus what it looks like you care about yourself. I'll take a big girl that cares about how she looks over a Bike Bunny anyday. ETA: I didn't mean to intimate that you were a big girl, at all, I meant that I was accepting of women that own themselves.
Men get away with more, true. I gotta bathe, shave, and get a weekly haircut. Hopefully be funny, low bar.

Well because I take good care of my skin, I've never worn much makeup on a day to day basis. Even when I do I just prefer a more natural look.
And I take good care self. I spend way to much money on my hair, get my nails and all routine maintenance done on my appearance on a monthly schedule.
I spend my day working from home, doing shite for my kid, etc. That doesn't require a whole lot of effort. I put in the effort to look really nice if we go out to dinner or something, but for day to day life not as much. But the same goes for pretty much everyone else I see around me, men or woman. Some just dress up for an office job 40 of those hours per week.
