I know the clear recommendation for a washer is Speed Queen.
What is the OT choice for a dryer?

Dryers are all very similar. Stay away from GE the rest are fine.
The GEs seem to wear out faster.

LG sucks as well. I have a box of parts to fix the one we had when it would break.
Now have a speed queen.

We bought the lowest end Speed Queen dryer at Stantons several years ago. It was around 1k so $1100 after taxes. It's very basic (2 knobs and a button) but it does its job very well.
There are higher end Sqeed Queens with fancier features but I'm fine with one that just dries clothes.

I’ve had my Speed Queen TC5 for about 3 weeks. Absolutely love it. I went with a Maytag dryer from Lowes @ $549. It’s a basic dryer with a mechanical timer. Pretty sure its not computerized . It does a great job . The speed queen is a beast.
