I know some of these smaller conference teams LSU played won't have a huge impact on the RPI. But it's still better to see them win than not win.

At least one game is final, Northern Illinois beat Ohio in Gm1 one of double header to open conference play.

VMI is losing to Binghampton in Gm 1 of of their double header today.

Stony Brook is beating winless Siena in Gm1 of their double header today. That game is in the 9th inning.

In SEC action, Auburn is beating Austin Peay 5-4 in the 5th, but the Govs already knocked out Auburn starter Chase Allsup.

Xavier could be a decent RPI coup. They were a regional team last year and are picked to compete with UConn for the Big East title this season.

Got swept by Clemson to open the season but won every series since and just gave Louisiana Tech its first loss of the year.

I didn't realize Tye Sheridan pitched for Austin Peay

Stony Brook's game just went final, they won.

They're in a conference with Northeaster, UNC Wilmington, Campbell.

It's a pretty strong baseball league.

Texas opens Big 12 play with Texas Tech today.

The Big 12 has this weird scheduling thing going on where they begin conference play with a series this weekend, then everyone has an OOC series next weekend before jumping back into conference play.

I feel like Allsup has been pitching for Auburn since 2017

Austin Peay tied it up. It's 5-5 in the top of the 8th right now.

My cousin plays SS for Xavier. Very excited for him to get an opportunity to play at the Box!

A lot of games moved up due to weather I'm assuming.

UGA is up 11-1 on Northern Colorado in the 6th right now.

No SEC or LSU opponents playing right now. So I'm watching Long Beach vs Wichita St.

In a little pre-emptive portal shopping, Long Beach's top two starters are both sophomores. The lefty ace throwing today is Myles Patton. 30 Ks in 16 innings going into this game.

Not saying he will hit the portal, or that we will be looking (we probably will, never have enough pitching). But high performing sophomores are key demographic, and Long Beach still has the interim tag on their Head Coach.

Their number 2 guy, Kellan Montgomery is off to a very good start as well.

Mizzou is continuing to struggle. Right now losing 5-1 to the Mastodons of IPFW in the 3rd.
