The US is adding $1 trillion of debt every 3-4 months.

ITT people show they don't know the difference between the deficit and the debt

He did cut the deficit. Trump was still in office during the first year of Covid and ran a significant deficit due to PPP loans, unemployment support, and other stimulus associated with the pandemic.
It’s a cheap claim, but factually accurate.

No, you are still increasing total debt as long as any deficit is occuring.
Trump spent a ton of money in 2020, so basically a literal corpse came in and spent a little less and now he fixed the deficit and he can point at a 1 yr yoy comparison that shows a deficit reduction.

Whether the Fake News Media likes admitting it or not, there was tremendous misrepresentation and lies in that Speech, but the People of our Country get it, and they know that November 5th will be the Most Important Day in our Nation’s History!

Yes. More than anyone in history.
He also has the lowest inflation in history and cured cancer with his Covid vaccine.

quote:No. If you have $10K in credit card debt and are spending $1,000/month on the CC, then one month you only spend $800 on the CC, you have cut your deficit spending by 20%. It still doesn't affect your previous balance. In fact, the balance continues to increase.
Would not the debt decrease if the deficit also decreased?

So.....the reality of Jotato's claim of cutting the deficit by $1 trillion is complete BS when the US is adding $1 trillion of debt every 3-4 months?
Correct!
