So much fun, and incredible, to see where the pros hit the ball compared to my game. Humbling.
Bay Hill is a tough course. From the member tees, my best is only an 86. I'm a 10 hdcp. Never hit more long irons (3,4,5) in my life.

One of the more wild things i’ve seen is the marker in the 18 fairway at Erin Hills. JT hit a 3 wood to 3 feet from like 310 at the out at the US Open and seeing it in person is mind boggling. That is one of the hardest holes i’ve ever played and seeing that makes you question life lol.

Colonial, Kapalua Plantation, Doral and Pebble are always special to me to watch because of that.

I enjoy pulling out my yardage books & seeing where the pros are compared to where I was. It’s also interesting to see how much longer the courses have gotten from when I played them.

My club used to host a Korn Ferry tournament until recently, it was really fun to walk the course and watch how real pros approach a course I know like the back of my hand and make it seem like muni track. The bombs launched on one of our big par 5s made me feel like so much more of a shitty golfer than I already am.

Played Shoal Creek the week after the PGA, shot 78 from the tips. Much less pressure than the pros were under.

Subtle brag they play on the course at the club I live at. Fun to watch on tv and see the blimp out the window.

Turnberry, Carnoustie, and Kiawah for me. Best round was Kiawah. The scottish courses ate me alive, but it was fun none the less

Yeah, I've played Pinehurst #2 and Sedgefield.

It is cool watching how easy they make it look. I've played Sedgefield a few times. It's actually one of the more boring courses I've ever played. Don't care for it. But I struggle to shoot in the 80s there, played during tourney conditions. You'd lose your ball in the rough, it was so high. And trying to hit out of hit it was so damn hard to do. Never had grass grab my club like that place.

But watching the pros tear that place apart really shows you how good pro players are. It's pretty unbelievable.

I find it crazy how some of these courses are in bad shape most of the year and still charge so much. Bay Hill was pretty meh when I played in September.
