The credit is lower for home school, but yes.

Reason I asked - here in AZ (we're in our 2nd year of this), there were a shite ton of loopholes people found/took advantage of. Parents were putting in home gyms with ESA funds for gym class. Some took European vacations on ESA funds and called it geography/history class. It created a lot of bad press for a very good program.

I see no reason why parents shouldn't be able to use funding for anything a school system could use funding for.

Would you have a problem with parents using the funds to buy a pool table, or put in a backyard pool?

Then no, I don't have a problem with homeschools having those things and using the funding the schools would have used to purchase them.

Congratulations to Alabama. I will never understand why Republicans aren't pushing this in every state. It is overwhelmingly supported.

Kentucky passed it in their last session but it got overturned by the KY Supreme Court for violating the constitution - which was a legitimate ruling based on the phrasing in our constitution. They are currently working on adding a ballot question to allow it in November and I can't wait to vote for it.

I'm surprised you're okay with it, but you're entitled to your own priorities.

I'm not even okay with schools using taxpayer funding to buy half the shite they do, particularly as they fail at teaching the basics.
