How many of you degenerates are coming to the fine city of Hammond Wednesday afternoon?

Why are we giving these slapdicks another game? Let's hope they figured out how to stream a baseball game this time around.

Yea, last year was embarrassing for SLU.

I vividly remember how pissed off at SLU this board was. People were saying we should be done playing at their Mickey Mouse facilities.

It’s on ESPN+ again
Can’t remember if that’s what it was last year as well

It was kinda fun just listening to the radio, frustrating but fun

Was a hot ticket when they released single game tickets. Think it sold out almost immediately.

Yep, surprised that I was able to grab a few. I've never watched the Tigers play in Hammond.

Think so. IIRC SELA had some IT/modem issues that precluded them from broadcasting the game. Hopefully they got that all straightened out.

Do this for hoops a lot. Blair's best sport! Also like me some Bill Franques on the road baseball games

With the way the television coverage was last season out of Hammond, driving out there to watch might be the only way to see the game.

Does anyone know why LSU is playing @SLU in back-to-back years?

That should be a once-in-a-decade trip.

It will be much better this year. I know the guy who is in charge of producing espn+ stuff at SLU and he said last year was a clusterfrick for a couple of reasons.

1) You may remember that SLU's entire campus was without wifi for like a month right before the game and that they hadn't fully recovered from that.

2) The one main IT guy who could have helped them make the broadcast work was an old codger who didn't realize how big of a deal the LSU game was and he didn't have his shite together. That guy has since retired.

So expect a better experience this time.

There was another non-conference game here when the schedule first came out and for some reason it got replaced with a game at SLU.

It will be--I talked to my friend a couple weeks ago and he said all should be good. He is just the content producer--the IT end of it isn't his deal but he says everything is good. They did a full season of SLU football games and a few basketball games and didn't have issues.

Probably forced into retirement when selu administration found out how much money in revenue some boomer cost them

If that guy was the reason for the lack of broadcast last year he should have been tarred and feathered

I watched an ESPN+ game at SLU this season and all they had set up was a camera behind home plate.
