They're also doing a wet dress rehearsal of the 3rd Starship in Texas right now. Pretty impressive that they can launch people to the ISS at the same time they're doing the final preps for launching the biggest rocket in the world.

The booster should be landing back at the cape in a couple minutes.

This shite is science fiction. Unreal.

"Hope the ride was as smooth as a cybertruck"
(Is that what I heard?)
I'm picturing Elon light up a fatty right about now!

Why does the launch angle always look like an upside down "L" ?

Watched it live and in person. A couple of trivia items:
- It's a clear night and the booster was visible glowing for a few seconds immediately after separation.
- The second stage burn was visible post booster landing.
- The first re-entry/braking burn was a little further north in the sky than usual due to the northeast launch trajectory.
- The double sonic boom was LOUD tonight. I don't understand atmospheric acoustics well enough to predict how loud each instance will be - this one was startling.

Watched it live and in person.
Instead, it flew up as far as possible and is now gliding around up there - we ain't piercing the veil...

I’m in the middle of it. It takes a special guy to be able to do everything he’s done. He’s also a little nuts too which helps.
It’s insane to me that he can walk these huge assembly lines at both Tesla and SpaceX, know what each and every robot does and still have such a personal hand in fine tuning everything.
He’s a genius and there’s never been a human being alive like him.
